At JustPicked, we believe in operating our business in the most sustainable way possible, we make sure we do everything we can to carry this ethos throughout our entire business operation. From constantly reviewing and improving our supply chains to sourcing as much as possible from local farmers, offsetting our carbon footprint and dealing with our waste sustainably.
Environmental Impact Accountability
At JustPicked we are very proud of building sustainable circular farming and business practices, with our suppliers and customers. This is key to the business strategy and long-term growth.
Justpicked are committed to planting 1 fruit tree for every 1000 miles our vehicles travel, helping offset our carbon footprint.
We encourage our staff and customers to develop long-term green initiatives and build them into the core of the company ethos.
Recycling and Waste Management
JustPicked has a zero-waste policy, any waste produced must be recycled reused or re-functioned.
Boxes and crates are always sent back to the farms of orientation. At the same time, cardboard and plastic packaging materials go through approved waste management and recycling schemes, not landfills. Any food waste produce is either gifted to local charities, church groups food banks or community projects such as animal feed and composting.
